We might have to say goodbye to the beautiful snow that we love to see here in Flagstaff, as Student Forecaster Quannah Arnold says, a Red Flag Warning is expected to reach Northern Arizona after starting in the southern part of the state. The recent trend of little to no precipitation levels is expected to continue as we move into the weekend and even next week.
Lake Havasu is expected to reach near 100 degree temperatures tomorrow, which will be perfect for that “creek season” we’ve heard so much about. With higher temps comes the increasing need for staying hydrated and maybe even breaking out the sunscreen.
You do want to watch out for things like heat stroke, and heat related illness, as we are expecting the temps to only increase as we move into the summer season. This trend will likely continue throughout the rest of the fire season as well.
