The Girls Basketball Team at Coconino High School has a standout player in Kiana Manuelito. The sophomore is a lifelong basketball player whose love of the sport is inspired by her parents.
Head Coach Martin Reyes says Manuelito is well mannered, fun, and hardworking both on and off the court. Her skills have helped earn her a position with significant opportunity and responsibility as the varsity team's "main offensive threat," says Reyes.
Reyes and Manuelito both say there is potential for the player to take on a greater leadership role as she grows with the team.
