The National Weather Service issued a red flag warning for all of Arizona through the weekend. The low-relative humidity, high winds and dry fuel are all factors that tie in to why a red flag warning was issued.
In the higher elevations, a wind advisory was declared as well. With these conditions, wildfires are able to start and spread rapidly. Everyone should be extra cautious and make sure to drown campfires, not park on dry grass and that no metal is dragging from any vehicle or trailer.
