NAZ Today’s Tori Smith reports on the dry conditions around all of northern Arizona have led to quicker spreading fires caused by human activity. Neil Chapman, Forest Health Supervisor explains they have not conducted any prescribed fires, and are not planning on it due to COVID and the rapid wildfires.
Coconino County still has a stage one fire restriction, which means no campfires or any open flame that doesn't have an independent shut off valve.
