Last week we told you about a local group that runs a seed library for gardeners. But they also swap seeds and on Friday, Flagstaff Foodlink held its annual Seed Swap. At the gathering, many learned how to plant seeds, with the most common being vegetables and native flowers. When starting a garden, Jackee Alston of Grow Flagstaff says, “You should start little but then grow from there as you feel comfortable.” The event encourages the community to come together while getting free seeds for their gardens.
