This week there was a rare major February rain event through Thursday and this morning. NAZ Today Meteorologist Lee Born, reviews the satellite image of a plume of moisture extending from Hawaii into the Western United States leaving the region with one to two inches of rain. Born says, as we look into the weekend we are expecting "cold snowy" weather starting off with one to three inches of snow starting tonight. Saturday is expected to be much colder, as Sunday comes around we are looking at significant snowfall that will lead into next week.
