<p>It&#8217;s where material from Flagstaff and all over the region goes to be sorted, and eventually, recycled.</p>
<p>But recently there&#8217;s been a trend of more non-recyclable material ending up at the MRF, and that&#8217;s causing some costly and even dangerous problems:</p>

<p>People are putting more and more non-recyclable material in with the recyclables causing all kinds of problems for the processing plant, especially with needles and medical waste posing a danger to sorters.</p>
