Sunday Evening Update:  ADOT is reporting that I-40 is beginning to reopen between Flagstaff and Winslow. Officials are also saying that some delays can be expected as backed up traffic begins to enter into the area.

FLAGSTAFF (NAZ Today)– Northern Arizona University’s Flagstaff campus is on a two-hour delay today, Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2010, because of inclement weather. All 8 a.m. and 9:10 a.m. classes today are canceled, and offices will open at 10 a.m. Faculty members will determine how class work will be made up.

Early Morning Accident Closes I-40

FLAGSTAFF (NAZ Today)- The Arizona Department of Public Safety (DPS) is investigating a two vehicle accident which occurred along Interstate 40 near Williams, Arizona.  The accident which involved two commercial tractor trailer rigs occurred at approximately 3:00 a.m. on January 13th.

Grand Canyon North Rim Closes Next Week

GRAND CANYON NATIONAL PARK, Ariz. (AP) — Motorized access to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon ends for the season next week.
The Arizona Department of Transportation will close State Route 67, the roadway leading to the North Rim.
