Northern Arizona Sports Update -- November 4, 2020
- Updated
Tonight sports reporter Jasmine Navarrete caught up with the Flagstaff football team. Senior quarterback Morgan Bewley and senior wide receiver Ryan Tagle’s chemistry is leading the team. Even though the Eagles have dropped two games in a row they are still contenders for region title. With this being said, head Coach Todd Hanley believes they are setting the standards high for the younger players on the team.
Also tonight, the Coconino Panthers are currently undefeated. A key contributor to their success is senior running back Manuel Cardoza. He scored three touchdowns for the Panthers last Friday and head coach Mike Lapsley says no one likes to win like Cardoza.
Staying on this side of town, the Coconino volleyball team is dominating the court. They were quarantined for two weeks and since their return they have remained undefeated. They are playing every match-up like it’s their last.
