Flagstaff High school senior Monica Encinas is finishing her senior year.  Monica says her she started playing softball at age 10 when she tried out for her little league team.  Monica has since become a key component to the Eagles success as a team but attributes her success to the help of her coaches.  Enchains has earned a batting average of over 400, but head coach Raymond Hernandez says that she has made an even bigger impact than that.  According to Raymond Hernandez, she is a great leader of the team and is good at bringing the team up when they’re down.  Encinas’ plan for the future is to study Environmental Engineering at either NAU or somewhere in California.
