Seligman (NAZ Today)- Detectives from the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office, Criminal Investigations Bureau, are investigating a shooting that occurred at around 4:30 AM on Friday, August 6th at a home in the Sierra Verde Ranch area of Seligman. Lorraine Long (age 62) was found shot to death and Robert Wiesner (age 52) from Mesa, Arizona has been arrested and booked on charges of 2nd degree murder.
While few details are available yet, investigators believe that two knew each other and the shooting began as a domestic dispute. The shooting suspect, Robert Wiesner was treated for a non-life threatening gunshot wound.
Detectives are also checking locations in Phoenix where the incident may have started. The circumstances of the shooting are still under investigation but warranted the murder arrest based on information that has been collected so far in the case.
