We are very excited to be back up online and to be able to continue to provide Northern Arizona with the latest news and information. We would also like to take this opportunity to thank our loyal NAZ Today audience for their support and understanding during this unexpected down time.
During the big snow storms that hit Northern Arizona the NAZ Today website was hit with an overwhelming volume of traffic that our web hosting company was unable to adequately handle. We were forced to quickly find a new host provider that could handle our higher volume of traffic and then we had to move everything over to the new web server. This has been no small task, but we were able to successfully and very quickly make the switch. So far the site has not only been able to handle the higher traffic loads, but the pages and content also load much faster than on our previous host provider.
Over the next couple of days we will be working to get the news stories back up to date, since we also haven’t been able to access the site during the transition.
