YCSO Looking For Missing Toddler

CAMP VERDE (NAZ Today)– Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office personnel are searching for a missing child.
Two-year-old Syler Newton was last seen in his family’s tent at around 12 am Sunday morning, according to the YCSO. The family was camping at the Beaver Creek Campground, southeast of the Sedona turnoff (SR 179) on Interstate 17. He was reported missing shortly before 2 am.
Over 50 search and rescue members and a DPS Ranger helicopter are searching for Syler. He was last wearing only a diaper. He has brown hair, blue eyes, and is almost 3 feet tall and weighs about 20 pounds.
YCSO asks anyone with any information on Syler’s whereabouts to call 9-1-1 or the Sheriff’s Office at (928) 771-3260.
