Days after the Chabad Molly Blank Jewish Community Center was severely damaged in what may be a hate crime, supporters have come out in full force. The fence in front of the building, which is still under construction, have been covered with dozens of hearts from well wishers.
Rabbi Dovie Shapiro said, “People do acts of hate for no reason and the way to combat that is to respond with love for no reason.”
And that is exactly what they are doing. Jewish Community Center is holding a dinner tonight at 6 p.m. to thank supporters. The event is open to the public.
