April is Water Awareness Month and the City of Flagstaff won the Mayor's water challenge last month and is planning on winning their second.

According to Water Conservation Specialist, Audrey Kruse, it is extremely important for Arizona to conserve water because we are a Southwestern state and water is one of our most precious possessions.

The Flagstaff Water Division encourages the community to do simple things such as turning the water off while you wash your hands, fixing leaks, and only doing full loads of laundry.

To get the community involved, Flagstaff is asking everyone to pledge this year to save water.
