Mechanical Engineering Assistant Professor, Zach Lerner and Engineering student, Dan Rivera, are working towards helping individuals who do not have the ability to walk.

Inside of the Human Performance Lab, Rivera and Lerner's goals are to make robots move more like humans do and to improve the overall function in a person with a disability.

Using robots on the human body, Lerner and Rivera can improve how they move throughout their daily lives and are motivated everyday to continue to help others.
