Researchers at Northern Arizona University are making progress on mapping water on the moon.

NAU professor, Christopher Edwards, is working to make a better way to map the water on the moon. Edwards thinks that we could potentially use the water that is on the moon, but it is important to understand where it is and where it's coming from.

Edwards and his team think that the water on the moon could be more widespread than other previous researchers once thought.
