NAU Narrows Search for President down to Two
- Updated
The search for a new President of Northern Arizona University is nearing completion, as the Arizona Board of Regents announced the two finalists who have been invited to come to Flagstaff. Jose Luis Cruz, who is currently the Vice Chancellor and Provost for City University New York, is the first of the two finalists. With Bret Danilowicz, the current Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs at Florida Atlantic University, being the other.
Neither NAU’s current President, Rita Cheng, or her office have released any information concerning the Presidential search. Although the university is hopeful both candidates will accept the invitation to interview, the Board currently has yet to release any additional information as to when the interviews will be conducted.
NAZ Today’s Quannah Arnold reports on the current finalists and how they match up to what the Board of Regents said they were looking for in an earlier interview.
