February 20, 2014 - NAZ Today reports on a Lowell Observatory astronomer has has received a five-year, $630,000 grant to continue his research.  Kevin Kirby was awarded the grant by the National Science Foundation's Career Program to continue his research on young star clusters, while engaging citizen scientists.  The grant allows a post-doctoral researcher and an NAU master's-degree student in astronomy to work at Lowell.
