FLAGSTAFF (NAZ Today)– As work begins wrapping up on South San Francisco Street, it begins on South Beaver Street.
The City of Flagstaff says that the east lane and sidewalk will be blocked this week as crews begin rebuilding the road between Route 66 and Butler Avenue. Intersections with cross-streets will be closed as the work moves by. Pedestrians and vehicles will be using the western traffic lane and sidewalk.
Workers will be installing new sidewalks and repaving the road. Also, crews will be installing new curbs, gutters, trash receptacles, bike racks, and landscaping.
The City anticipates that work will be done by November of this year. Crews will still be working on South San Francisco Street until that part of the project is completed in early September.
