Update, Saturday: 12:30- The Arizona Department of Public Safety is reporting that I-17 has now reopened. Drivers are urged to use caution in this area, and watch for crews and police that are still working on scene.
Flagstaff (NAZ Today)- Interstate 17 has been closed near Sunset Point (mp 256, Bloody Basin) because of a brush fire and heavy smoke. The fire is burning approximately 2 miles north of Sunset Point and burning near the roadway.
