Flagstaff Officially Deemed Train Quiet Zone

Last Train PKGIt’s been called noisy, disruptive and annoying, yet it’s a part of Flagstaff’s history.

An issue that has caused a lot of debate over the past eight years made a big leap forward today. For the final time, a passing train blew its horn this afternoon.

  1. Im not holding my breath… I was stopped at the tracks downtown just an hour ago and the train horn was in full use. I have no doubt that one side of this (that hasn’t been heard) comes from the train conductors who wont comply with the new order… then what?

  2. Bunch of freakin’ crybabies. I grew up next to train tracks — it’s a safety thing. If you don’t like the noise, move your whiny little butts out. (This post has been edited to meet forum standards)
