FLAGSTAFF (NAZ Today)- As of about 6am this morning (1/23/10), Arizona Snowbowl had power and was working to prepare the resort for opening. Snowbowl has been closed since Thursday afternoon due to a power outage and blizzard like conditions. According to their website, power was restored overnight and crews are now assessing conditions and removing large amounts of snow from the roads and parking lots. Snowbowl officials still aren’t sure when the mountain will re-open and Snowbowl Road is currently being restricted to resort employees only. Snowbowl has received between 67 – 92 inches of snow in the last seven days.
