FLAGSTAFF (NAZ Today)– After initially cancelling the first two classes of the morning, as was the case Wednesday, Northern Arizona University made the decision to close the Flagstaff campus for the day Thursday. NAU announced the decision via E-mail and the university’s homepage just after 8 am Thursday morning.
Officials cited “worsening conditions” in their decision to close the whole campus, and are discouraging people from coming to campus so that crews can try to clear snow from sidewalks and parking lots. Only designated, essential employees report to work on snow days.
