The Federal Transit Administration (FTA) awarded Northern Arizona's public transit "Mountain Line" an $87,000 grant to fund human trafficking awareness and prevention efforts. CEO and General Manager of Mountain Line Erika Mazza says the grant will be used to educate the public and transit operators on identifying suspicious behavior, provide training to Mountain Line drivers on responding to trafficking situations, and to create an app which allows riders to send videos of trafficking incidents on the buses to authority and law enforcement.
