City of Flagstaff Mourns Police Officer Michael Terrin (with video)

Flagstaff  (NAZ Today) - Sgt. Mike Terrin of the Flagstaff Police Dept. has passed.  Sgt. Terrin was a public information officer for the city as well as the D.A.R.E. officer.  He has worked with NAU students explaining  the operations of police department.  He worked for Flagstaff Police Dept. for over 25 years.  He is survived by his wife Charlene, his daughters Christin and Danielle, his son Michael and two grandchildren.

A malignant tumor was found on Terrin's liver several months ago and a  facebook site was started by his daughter Christin allowing friends and family to post their messages.  With over 600 members, the site was filled with personal messages to Terrin and his family.  Mike Terrin's Facebook Group

"The entire city from law enforcement to the city offices are very saddened with his passing and our hearts and prayers are with the family," said Kim Ott from the City of Flagstaff.

Services for Terrin will be held at Christ's Church of Flagstaff at 3475 East Soliere Avenue this Saturday at 11 a.m.
