July 17, 2015 - NAZ Today reports on a couple being arrested after a traffic stop.

A Kentucky couple is behind bars after a Yavapai County Sheriff K-9 officer alerted agents to 20 pounds of methamphetamines in the trunk of the couple's vehicle.

65-year-old Robert Wetton, and Pamela Wetton his 66-year old wife were arrested yesterday near Cordes Junction on I-17 after a Sheriff's deputy pulled the couple over for an equipment and moving violation. When asked, Robert Wetton reportedly told the officer he could not search the vehicle.

That's when the officer's canine partner, Gemma, alerted him to over 20 pounds of meth and drug paraphenalia in the car. The couple is facing multiple drug charges. Detectives from the Partner’s Against Narcotics Trafficking Taskforce are continuing the investigation.
