TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) — Authorities say two people suffered minor injuries after a small private plane experienced problems while trying to take off Friday morning at Tucson International Airport.

The Tucson Airport Authority says four adults were aboard the plane but only two needed to be taken to University Medical Center for treatment.
Authorities say the Piper Twin Comanche was briefly airborne when it went down near the airport’s executive terminal but the plane did not catch fire.
Authorities say the owner of the plane was a Tucson man who also was the pilot, but the names of the other three people aboard were not immediately released.

The plane reportedly was headed to the White Mountains.
