PHOENIX (AP) — Gasoline prices in Arizona and across the country are on the rise for the first time in a month.
Triple-A officials announced Wednesday that Arizona motorists currently are paying an average of $2.509 for a gallon of regular unleaded. That’s an increase of 1.5 cents since last week.
The nationwide average is $2.516 per gallon, up 5 cents from last week.
In Arizona, Tucson drivers currently are paying the least for gasoline at $2.314 per gallon while Flagstaff motorists are paying the most at $2.671 per gallon.
Triple-A officials say the statewide fuel average of $2.545 per gallon so far this month is Arizona’s lowest for a July since 2005.
