On June 2, 2009, at approximately 2:20 A.M., Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a report of suspicious activity in the 700 block of North Creekside Drive, Prescott.
The caller described two suspects entering private yards and removing property which was then placed in a truck parked nearby. The suspects and just entered the vehicle and were driving away. When a deputy arrived on Old Black Canyon Highway, he saw the described truck parked and a male suspect running towards the Quality Inn. The deputy was able to detain the suspect who was identified as 15-year-old Joshua Little from Prescott, and he denied any association with the truck or a second suspect.

During a check of the hotel parking lot, the second suspect was found hiding under a vehicle. He was identified as 19-year-old Daniel Little who is Joshua’s brother.
While searching for suspects, deputies found a blue SUV parked in the hotel lot with the back passenger side door open. After locating the owners, who were guests at the hotel, deputies learned that 2 sets of golf clubs had been stolen. When deputies checked the suspect’s truck, which was registered to the Little family, they found the stolen golf clubs. Each set of clubs was valued at $1000.00 dollars. The victims told deputies they inadvertently left their vehicle door unlocked after parking earlier in the evening.
Deputies also recovered stolen wicker chairs along with a wooden table and bench belonging to neighbors in the area. The owner of the wicker chairs was located and recovered the property. Deputies are still attempting to locate owners of the remaining stolen property. One of the suspects admitted using the “Craigslist” website to sell stolen property.
The brothers were charged with several counts including Burglary, Theft and Trespassing. Joshua was booked at the Camp Verde Jail.
