FLAGSTAFF (NAZ Today) – The National Weather Service in Flagstaff has expanded the Winter Storm Warning to include Yavapai County Valleys.
Rain will change back to snow late tonight through Friday evening, bringing heavy snowfall to locations as low as 4,000 feet.
Accumulations will range from 5″-9″ by early Saturday morning.
Along with the snow, gusty winds will develop around midnight. Wind gusts of 50 mph are possible for about 2 hours.
