Oak Creek Remains in its Banks

(SEDONA) NAZ Today – Oak Creek crested early this morning at 6.37′, about 10 feet lower than what officials had expected.

The creek remained in its banks and there was no serious flooding in the Sedona area. Once the sun comes up, officials will assess the area for damages and inform residents that they can return to their homes.

Oak Creek in Cornville did crest above flood stage. The creek crested at 10.0′ early this morning, which is one foot above flood stage.
