For college students being away from their families can be difficult which is why one local mom is finding a way to reconnect parents with their kids by making them a special treat in the form of pastries.

Debbie Mcglothilin is the owner of Pinecone Pastries enjoys making care packages for her child who goes to school in another state and she thought others would too.

She helps parents make care packages for their kids with her business. Through Pinecone Pastries parents can send pastries to their kids who attend NAU. Orders can be made with a phone call or an online message and can be ordered with a personalized message.
