Body of Missing Cameron Man Found Near Flagstaff

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (AP) — Authorities say the body of a Cameron man missing since last month has been found near Flagstaff.
The Coconino County Sheriff’s Office says the body of 53-year-old Roger Jones Cowboy was located in a rocky area behind a trading post about 27 miles north of Flagstaff.

National Fire Center Predicts Short Fire Season

PHOENIX (AP) — Arizona has been hammered by wildfires over the past eight years but this year it looks like the state may catch a break.

Two Men Connected With ‘High Country Bandits’ Caught

SHOW LOW (NAZ Today)– Two men have been arrested in connection to the recent string of bank robberies in Flagstaff and other parts of the southwest.

Flagstaff Missing Person Found Dead in Yavapai County

YAVAPAI COUNTY (NAZ Today)– The body of a person reported missing Monday night has been found.
Members of the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office Search and Rescue team and the YCSO Forest Patrol found her body about 100 feet from where her shoes had been found Tuesday night.

Councilmember Joe Haughey and incumbent Sara Presler have defeated former councilmember Kara Kelty in the primary for the Flagstaff mayoral election. Haughey received the most votes, with 4,214, or 34.92 percent. Presler received 3,963 votes, or 32.84 percent. Kelty received 3,844 votes, or 31.86 percent.

Judge Orders Bus Firm to Stop Interstate Service

A federal judge has ordered a bus company involved in an Arizona crash that killed six people and injured more than a dozen others to cease interstate operations.
