12-Year-Old Boy Wounded Near Shooting Range
PHOENIX (AP) — A 12-year-old boy is being treated for a gunshot wound after he was accidentally shot near the Ben Avery Shooting Range in north Phoenix Saturday morning.
Phoenix police say the boy was wounded in the arm and the torso.
A medical helicopter flew the boy to St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix.

FLAGSTAFF (NAZ Today)– Two men have been arrested in connection to the recent string of bank robberies in Flagstaff and other parts of the southwest.

Just over three percentage points separated the three mayoral candidates when the primary election results were announced last night.
Each candidate gathered roughly a third of the vote, but only two could move on to the general election in May.

Two candidates running for Flagstaff City Council have been eliminated.
Small business owner Dan Frazier and retired school teacher Stephen Knutson are no longer in the running. Both candidates received less than 1,900 votes.
