ELFRIDA, Ariz. (AP) — Sixty-seven illegal immigrants were found crammed inside a U-Haul truck near Elfrida, Ariz. about 20 miles north of the U.S.-Mexico border after deputies spotted it driving erratically.

Audit: 43 Arizona Businesses Have Illegal Staff

PHOENIX (AP) — More than half of the Arizona businesses that had their workforces audited by Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents since last July have been found to have illegal workers on their payrolls.

Cat Killed By Arizona Driver Could Be Rare Ocelot

Green Valley School Going Solar

GREEN VALLEY, Ariz. (AP) — Green Valley’s Continental School plans to go entirely solar by the end of summer.
The Arizona school currently buys electricity from TRICO electrical cooperative for $112,000 a year.

Arizona Reports No Deer and Elk Have Disease

PHOENIX (AP) — The Arizona Game and Fish Department says no chronic wasting disease was found in the 1,624 samples tested from deer and elk taken during the state’s 2009-2010 hunting season.
