Snow And Rain Keep Emergency Workers Busy

Coconino County – (NAZ Today) Snow and Rain made a grand enterence in the north country Sunday, leaving behind a slew of wrecks and disabled vehicles along the busy roadways. Drivers both skilled and novice at winter driving had a difficult time dealing with Mother Natures wrath.
Between 9:00 am and 6:00 pm Sunday, Arizona Department of Public Safety Officers had already responded to more than 20 weather related accidents, and they fear the worst was yet to come. “The wet roadways will likely turn into black ice, causing even more accidents,” said one officer.
As of 6:00 pm no serious injuries had been reported, but at least 10 people had been taken to area hospitals as result of accidents.

Local Hero Matthew Broehm’s Remains Return Home

FLAGSTAFF (NAZ Today) – Family and friends of a fallen soldier from Williams received their loved one Thursday afternoon.
After arriving at Flagstaff Pullium Airport, a hero’s procession led the body of Marine Lance Corporal Matthew Broehm through Flagstaff.

Man Pinned Between Two Semi’s at Bellemont Truck Stop

A man was seriously injured Saturday night when he was pinned between two commercial semi trucks in a Bellemont Pilot truck stop, police said.

UPDATE: Missing Flagstaff Woman Found

FLAGSTAFF (NAZ Today) -The Coconino County Sheriff’s Department said a missing 34-year-old woman they considered to be an at-risk person, was found safe Monday.
Earlier, police asked for the public’s help in finding April Patneski, who went missing from a care facility in Doney Park Friday.
