Flagstaff Science Festival

FLAGSTAFF (NAZ Today) By: Jennifer Buzzard – The Flagstaff Science Festival is back again, celebrating its 20th anniversary. This year is the International Year of Astronomy and Flagstaff is celebrating with 10 days of science activities. The festival starts September 25th and is going on until October 4th. The fourth man to walk on the moon, Alan Bean, will be one of many speakers during the festival. Bean is no stranger to Northern Arizona; he trained for his mission just north of Flagstaff. He will be giving a power point presentation Friday, Sept. 25 at NAU’s Ardrey Auditorium at 7p.m.

There are over 70 events that will be going on during the festival and all of them are free. For more information about each event, visit the festival website at www.scifest.org
