Forest Service Issues Temporary Emergency Closure For The San Francisco Peaks Area

One Dead in Small Plane from NM Found Crashed Near Seligman

SELIGMAN, Ariz. (AP) — The wreckage of a small plane that took off in New Mexico last week and disappeared has been found in northern Arizona. The pilot was dead.
Searchers with the Civil Air Patrol found the Beech Bonanza crashed atop a mountain about 8 miles from Seligman.
