Flagstaff- Arizona Public Service is reporting that thousands of homes are experiencing power outages in the Flagstaff area due to Thursday’s winter storm. An estimated 3,00o homes are currently without power around Flagstaff.

Flooding is currently being reported in the following areas:
- Beulah Dr. and Lake Mary Road.
- Rt.66 Eastbound from Arrowhead Dr. to 4th st. Cars still able to pass through.

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (AP) — Heavy snow usually means a big boost in visitors for a ski resort near Flagstaff.
But the Arizona Snowbowl was forced to close midday Thursday because of a power outage.

FLAGSTAFF (NAZ Today) – The National Weather Service in Flagstaff has expanded the Winter Storm Warning to include Yavapai County Valleys.
Rain will change back to snow late tonight through Friday evening, bringing heavy snowfall to locations as low as 4,000 feet.
