Indian Fire on Tusayan District Picks Up in Activity Due to Dry, Warm Weather
TUSAYAN, Ariz. – The Indian Fire on the Tusayan Ranger District picked up significantly in activity due to warmer and drier weather conditions yesterday. The fire grew to about 500 acres and produced a smoke column that was visible from Grand Canyon National Park, Tusayan and Flagstaff.
