Arizona Tribe Hit By Flooding Delays Opening Date
SUPAI, Ariz. (AP) — The Havasupai Tribe is pushing back the reopening date for its reservation over concerns about the swine flu.
Flooding forced the closure of the reservation to visitors last year. Tribal camping office employee Suzanna Siyuja said Thursday that the tribe now plans to reopen on June 1 instead of Monday.

Grand Canyon, Ariz. – Yesterday afternoon, Grand Canyon National Park Rangers recovered the body of a young man missing since Thursday morning, when he and two others disappeared after jumping into the Colorado River. The young man has been identified as 16 year-old, Mark Merrill.

TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) — The U.S. Border Patrol says agents patrolling near Nogales have arrested 22 men after they were spotting carrying bales of marijuana into the U.S. from Mexico.

Phoenix Man Indicted in Speed Camera Shooting
PHOENIX (AP) — The man accused of fatally shooting the operator of a speed-enforcement van in Phoenix has been indicted on three charges.
A grand jury handed up the indictment Wednesday against 68-year-old Thomas Patrick Destories.
Destories is charged with first-degree murder, drive-by shooting and shooting a gun at a structure. All three are felonies.
